Role: Finance Analyst 

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £48,458.93 per annum, with a discretionary annual 5% bonus

Location: Home working (UK Mainland only)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working hours between 9:00am and 5:30pm.

About the Role:

At ArvatoConnect, we're seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Analyst to join our Financial Viability Risk Assessment team. If you're a CCAB-certified finance professional with a strong analytic mindset, this could be your next big career move!

As a qualified chartered accountant, you’ll be at the forefront of assessing companies tendering for public sector work, ensuring solvency, stability, and risk compliance. You’ll lead complex evaluations, provide expert financial insights, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Your expertise will shape this evolving service, as you work closely with senior clients, mentor your team, and maintain the highest standards of financial scrutiny.  What you’ll do:

As a Financial Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability of companies bidding for government contracts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading complex financial assessments to evaluate the solvency, stability, and risks of organisations tendering for public sector contracts.
  • Review financial evaluations to confirm they align with agreed business processes and criteria.
  • Use your expertise to make risk-based decisions that influence key government contracts.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to provide clear financial insights and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Enhance processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and the effectiveness of assessments to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead, coach, and develop assessors to maintain high-quality performance and meet service targets.

 What you’ll bring to the table: 

  • CCAB-certified (ACCA, AIA, CAI, ICAEW, ICAS, CIPFA).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Confidently liaise with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Leadership and mentoring ability to guide and support your team to achieve high-quality results.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to assess financial risk and make sound, evidence-based decisions.

 Minimum Criteria:

✅ Hold a CCAB qualification (ACCA, AIA, CAI, ICAEW, ICAS, CIPFA).
✅ Have experience in financial analysis, risk assessment, or auditing.
✅ Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial viability assessments.
✅ Possess excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
