Future shapers. Experience makers

In a world where change is constant, ArvatoConnect stands at the forefront of innovation. We partner with forward-thinking organisations to reshape and reinvent how they connect with their customers. By delivering cutting-edge, technology-driven solutions, we create exceptional experiences that foster stronger connections, enhance loyalty, and drive growth.

This role supports one of our key automotive clients, a trusted global brand operating within a highly regulated environment. As part of an FCA-regulated account, you’ll play an important role in ensuring we deliver compliant, high-quality services while achieving strong operational and customer outcomes.

The Role:

As Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in the effective delivery of the operational performance across a fast-paced contact centre environment, leading through your Team Managers to deliver consistently strong customer, people, commercial and regulatory outcomes.

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading operational performance through your Team Managers, ensuring our people, processes and priorities come together to deliver strong customer, client and business outcomes.

You’ll work closely with the client and teams including Workforce Planning, Quality & Training and Operational Support, ensuring priorities are aligned and operational plans translate into results.

Your Impact:

  • Ensure efficient operational delivery, ensuring KPIs, SLAs, quality measures and contractual requirements are achieved.
  • Lead and develop Team Managers, setting clear expectations and building capability and accountability across their teams.
  • Drive performance improvement, using operational data, customer insight and root cause analysis to identify issues and ensure appropriate action is taken.
  • Support a strong client relationship, working closely with the Senior Operations Manager and client stakeholders to understand priorities, respond to operational requirements and deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Ensure regulatory and quality requirements are embedded within operational delivery, supporting compliant and positive customer outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement across customer journeys, processes and ways of working, identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and customer experience.
  • Lead the operational implementation of change, helping teams successfully adopt new initiatives, technologies and ways of working.
  • Work collaboratively across specialist functions, including Workforce Planning, Quality & Training and Continuous Improvement, to ensure operational requirements are understood and delivered.
  • Manage performance with commercial awareness, understanding how operational decisions and performance contribute to the wider objectives of the account.
  • Develop capability and succession within the operation, ensuring Team Managers and their teams are equipped to meet both current and future requirements.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Consistent achievement of operational KPIs, SLAs, quality standards, contractual obligations and commercial targets.
  • An operation that delivers strong, compliant customer outcomes and responds quickly when performance or quality begins to move off track.
  • Team Managers who understand what is expected of them, take ownership of performance and are actively coached and developed to strengthen their capability.
  • Performance decisions driven by data and insight, with underlying issues identified and actions followed through to resolution rather than simply treating symptoms.
  • A strong and credible client relationship, supported by accurate reporting, clear communication and confidence in operational delivery.
  • Continuous improvement embedded into the operation, with opportunities to improve customer experience, quality, efficiency and ways of working actively identified and progressed.
  • Effective succession planning and talent management, creating the capability required to support current and future operational needs.
  • Change and new initiatives implemented effectively while maintaining operational performance and customer outcomes.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum criteria

  • Strong demonstratable experience operating as a Operations Manager, or equivalent senior operational leadership level, within a fast-paced contact centre environment.
  • Demonstrable experience leading through Team Managers, with responsibility for developing leadership capability and improving operational and people performance.
  • Demonstratable experience operating within an FCA-regulated environment, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and the importance of delivering compliant customer outcomes.
  • Strong experience managing operational performance through KPIs, SLAs, quality measures and customer insight, using data to identify trends, diagnose performance issues and inform action.
  • Demonstrable client and stakeholder management experience, with the confidence to lead operational discussions, communicate performance clearly and build credible relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with experience using root cause analysis and performance insight to turn operational challenges into practical improvement.
  • Experience leading teams through operational change and implementing new initiatives or ways of working.
  • Strong communication, planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong coaching and development approach, with evidence of building capability, accountability and succession within operational teams.
